St.George Software (P) Ltd had been incorporated summer 2005 as an Indian subsidiary of the successful British Antivirus- / Antimalware Manufacturer St.George Security Solutions Ltd (since renamed UMU Ltd and later BLACKBELT Defence).

A management buy-out by German Andreas Bieber, one of St.George (UK)/UMU's co-founder, it's former COO and an acomplished lecturer for Business Informatics at a reputed European University of Applied Science, put St. George on the South-Asian corporate map as an independent and sound producer of quality training, reliable and innovative software-products especially for Handheld Devices and Mobile Systems (such as PDA's, Smartphones and Navigation Systems), as well as for PC's and Small Server Solutions.

Despite being among smaller setup's (headcount up to 50) and operations on-demand, St.George boasts the advantage of having all steps of a full software production cycle under one roof ... from conceptionalising over design, development, testing till maintaining ...we are able to take care and deliver the wanted results: a successful blend of a European structure and Indian development.
